Both faiths and many secular organisations recognise that the environmental crisis is a spiritual issue. Therefore, its solution can only be found through exploring the root causes of this degradation, that is through fostering an ethos or an atmosphere of compassion and care for the natural world. Through example, mindfulness, compassion and, care rooted in centuries of experience, the faiths can guide this learning. This webinar addresses the areas of training, crisis and adaptation, practices of prayer and use of liturgies, as well as the theology of nature from a diverse range of faith perspectives. This is part of the wider webinar series hosted by FaithInvest and the WWF Beliefs and Values Programme on Creating your Faith Long-term Plan.
