We welcome you to join the inaugural "Canada Innovates: Improving the Molecular Toolbox” symposium presented by New England Biolabs Canada.
The current pandemic has highlighted the critical importance of molecular diagnostic and surveillance tools that enable decisive action in a cost-efficient manner with high accuracy of outcomes. Our goal with this event is to celebrate Canadian ingenuity by showcasing scientists pushing the envelope in development and implementation of revolutionary biomolecular tools.
At NEB, we are privileged to work with two such leaders who will be presenting at this event, Dr. Pierre Billon from the University of Calgary and Dr. Keith Pardee from University of Toronto. Both presenters have developed pioneering technologies for nucleic acid detection with broad applications in human disease, including COVID-19.
