Medication management plays an important role for many people with Parkinson’s disease (PD). It can be overwhelming and confusing as medication regimens are adjusted, new medications are introduced, and side effects arise.
Join clinical pharmacist, Tiana Tilli from the University of British Columbia’s Pharmacists Clinic, to learn about the clinic’s medication management services, including one-on-one appointments to develop comprehensive care plans for Parkinson’s patients. Group appointment services are also available, whereby patients learn about medication planning in a supportive environment with a group of up to 10 attendees.
Tiana’s presentation will focus on comprehensive management of the non-motor symptoms of PD, including nausea, constipation, memory impairment, daytime sleepiness, restless leg syndrome, muscle aches and pains, and sexual dysfunction. Lifestyle management, natural health products, and pharmaceutical options for these non-motor symptoms will be explored.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions, as opportunities to bring them forward to Tiana will be available.
We welcome all individuals with PD to this webinar as well as their spouses and/or care partners/caregivers.
