Behavior for Puppy and Kitten Visits RACE Provider #50-26319 RACE Course #20-794501.; MEDICAL 1 UNIT
When it comes to behavior, prevention is the best medicine. This presentation incorporates tips for making puppy and kittens visits fun and fear free for our patients. We cover a variety of client education topics including understanding body language cues, providing the basic behavioral needs for dogs and cats, socializing while social distancing, learning life skills, and introduction to cooperative care. Video content will be used to demonstrate conditioning positive associations and utilizing positive reinforcement for veterinary and husbandry procedures.
