In this webinar, Caitríona will discuss the importance of teaching reading fluency and ways in which you can incorporate this into your classroom/learning support room using Readers Theatre - a fun, inclusive, evidence-based approach.

She will provide you with links to the resources and scripts you will need to get started. This approach can also be easily adapted and used in the teaching of reading fluency ‘as Gaeilge’.

Please note that no recordings will be shared with participants. Slides will be shared if the presenter is agreeable to this. Caitríona Soraghan is a primary school teacher, who has fourteen years teaching experience in a Gaelscoil at all class levels, including seven years in the area of Additional Educational Needs. Caitríona has completed a Masters in SpLD/Dyslexia qualifying as a Dyslexia Specialist and is a member of DySI (Dyslexia Specialists Ireland). She is passionate about changing the path for those with literacy difficulties by empowering them, their parents and their teachers.
