Connecting with Community: Lessons from Arizona Genealogy Day - AzLA Professional Development Monthly Webinar Series
The Arizona State Library, Archives, and Public Records partnered with the Arizona Genealogical Advisory Board to host a free, virtual event, Arizona Genealogy Day, the last two years. In this presentation, we will provide a detailed case study on this successful event from planning to presentations to post-event surveys. We will highlight opportunities and resources that will benefit libraries across Arizona as they pursue their own successful partnerships and programming to connect their library’s resources to those interested in genealogy and local history. We will also share ideas on how libraries can highlight their resources during our annual event.
