"Doing What Needs to be Done" encapsulates the life and death of Late Dr. Adadevoh. Her sacrifice to save lives calls to us at this time of mourning in many parts of our country. Are WE doing what needs to be done?
The only worthy answer to her sacrifice is to work to build a healthy Nigeria. We all have a role to play in making effective and efficient healthcare delivery a reality in the nation especially when political obstacles have to be overcome.
The essential ingredient for this is a rebuilding of our national heathcare structure on the foundation of Community Nursing and Medicine. This lecture to be given by Dr. M. C. Asuzu, retired Professor of Community Medicine and chaired by Dr. Minnie Oseji, Consultant Community Physician & National President of the Medical Women's Association of Nigeria, is a must-attend in light of the current national discourse for reforms.
