MiQ, an independent, not-for-profit partnership between Rocky Mountain Institute and SYSTEMIQ, invites you to join a webinar focused on the role that certification can play in facilitating differentiated natural gas markets and enabling methane emissions abatement at scale.
With a keynote address from renowned natural gas expert Professor Jonathan Stern of the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, this event will examine the methane emissions problem in the oil and gas sector, and look at how independent certification could work together with regulation and voluntary schemes to incentivise rapid methane emissions abatement.
The event will be hosted by Derek Brower, the US Energy Editor at the Financial Times. Joining him to discuss this complex issue will be:
• Georges Tijbosch, Senior Adviser at MiQ
• Deborah Gordon, Senior Fellow in Climate Intelligence at Rocky Mountain Institute
• Faustine Delasalle, Director of the Energy Transitions Commission and Partner at SYSTEMIQ
• Jonathan Banks, International Director of Super Pollutants at Clean Air Task Force
We hope you are able to join us for an interesting and interactive session with a great line up of speakers. You will be able to ask questions during the event, but if you would like to submit any in advance please send them through to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to your team and partners.
