Topic
Cinematography in the Virtual Production Space
Description
Immersive Wexford continues its series of ground-breaking XR masterclasses by shifting its focus to: VIRTUAL PRODUCTION
A studio-based production technique, Virtual Production (VP) delivers real-time visual effects that were previously only achievable in post-production. In doing so, VR has become one of the fastest growing areas of job creation in the film and television industry – and also one of the most innovative and exciting. By combining game-engines, CGI, virtual reality technologies and LED walls; VP brings visual effects onto the film-set allowing them be filmed simultaneously with actors, props, sets etc. As a work tool, VP is also re-shaping areas of the filmmaking process that include virtual location scouting and set design.
In our latest 90 minute online panel discussion, IMMERSIVE WEXFORD hosts top industry professionals sharing insights, experiences and practical advice; covering areas such as work processes, equipment, training, post-production workflow, entry to the industry, etc. We will speak to people who are curious about expanding their learning in this space - from total beginner to industry professional looking to enter into this exciting area.
If this interests you, come and meet our panel detailed below.
