Often Managers feel ill-equipped to support employees through a period of absence at work and limit their use of the policies and resources potentially available to them. Training Managers on what to pay attention to, to successfully facilitate a team member through a parental or any leave of absence; so that the employee is more likely to return to work and be engaged, is critical. This is often the period where organisations see the most visible and invisible attrition and it is important to support Managers with the knowledge on their role in managing these transitions, in the quest for greater diversity and inclusion.

Deborah has been working with Professionals and Organisations to drive improvements for better inclusion for carers since 2010 in Switzerland. Prior to this, Deborah worked for 15 years in project management, working on change projects across Europe.
