From Cathedrals to Basadis, Gurdwaras to Mosques, places of worship are central to the practices and traditions of faiths. Considering the environmental impacts of building and construction projects is becoming evermore important as faith groups seek environmentally beneficial solutions to maintain existing buildings, and design new projects. But, it is not just places of worship that need assessment. Healthcare facilities, schools, offices, and housing, among others, owned by the faiths make up a substantial proportion of faith groups assets. Through the presentation of case studies, this webinar explores the practical and theological aspects of buildings and construction within the faith-environment context and explores practical examples of healthcare provision and purchasing policies of faith organisations. This is part of the wider webinar series hosted by FaithInvest, INCR and the WWF Beliefs and Values Programme on Creating your Faith Long-term Plan.
