Imagine a classroom of 3-year-olds, with little experience of expected behaviors, limited teamwork skills, and exuberance that leads to impulsivity. Then, imagine the strategies needed to keep them safe, engaged, and learning. Those broad strategies are transferable and provide a new lens to examine student affairs work because our effectiveness depends on our ability to positively influence behaviors.
