New York Times reporter Nicole Perlroth will join the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute for a virtual conversation at 10:00 a.m. CT Tuesday, June 15. Perlroth and Institute Director John Shaw will discuss global cybersecurity and her new book about the cyber arms race.
Perlroth covers cybersecurity and digital espionage for The New York Times. She has written about Russian hacks of nuclear plants and elections; North Korean cyberattacks against companies and hospitals; Iranian attacks on the Trump campaign; and a Chinese hack of The Times. Her book, “This Is How They Tell Me the World Ends: The Cyberweapons Arms Race,” was released in February, and has been optioned for television. Perlroth is also a guest lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
