The CAIE Global Perspectives curriculum frameworks at primary and lower secondary aim to develop the skills of research, analysis, evaluation, reflection, collaboration and communication to help students become critical and independent thinkers who are able to explore contemporary issues and solve problems by working collaboratively. The skills that students need for Global Perspectives should not be taught solely in the Global Perspectives classroom; they have a place in every classroom, and in every school subject, and they are skills that every student needs to develop.
In this webinar, we will be looking at how Collins has embedded the skills needed for Global Perspectives into the new courses for primary and lower secondary English, maths, science and English as a second language. We will be considering how the materials can support schools that offer a full Global Perspectives programme, as well as supporting schools that would like their students to develop Global Perspectives skills but that are unable to offer a Global Perspectives programme. The webinar will finish with a Q&A session.
