RainWise, a City of Seattle and King County partnership, offers rebates for rain gardens and cisterns on private property. These installations capture water that falls on roofs and keeps it out of sewer pipes during big rain storms. Nearly 2,000 property owners have installed RainWise rain gardens and cisterns and are helping to keep our waterways clean.
In selected areas of Seattle, the City of Seattle and King County will pay up to 100 percent of the cost of installing rain gardens and cisterns on homeowners’ properties.
This Webinar is for homeowners in RainWise-eligible basins throughout Seattle who are interested in learning more about the RainWise Program and rebates. At this Webinar you will learn:
• About the stormwater problem
• About the solutions we’re using to solve it
• How you can help, and get a rebate of up to 100% of the cost on rain gardens and cisterns.
We'll cover the rebate process, selecting a contractor, and you'll have a chance to ask questions with a RainWise homeowner, RainWise outreach staff and a RainWise Inspector.
