This 2-hour webinar is a panel discussion on navigating section 276 and 278 of the Criminal Code for complainants' counsel in criminal proceedings.
This presentation will provide an overview of the law surrounding the admissibility of evidence of a survivor's past sexual activity and the production of third-party records for criminal proceedings. It will also outline the evolution of this area of law and provide practical advice for advancing these sexual assault cases and guidance on developing a trauma-informed practice.
The format of this webinar will be a 1 hour presentation followed by a 1 hour Q&A with the presenters.
