Participants will gain an understanding of: how and why mobile apps collect device identifiers and other personal information, including through accessing phone sensors; how data is shared with third parties using software development kits (SDKs); the uses of application programing interfaces (APIs); and the impact of iOS and Android settings on privacy. No technical experience necessary.
