Ibrahim Al-Othman
President, CEO and Member of The Board @United Development Company (UDC)
Mr Ibrahim Al-Othman is president and chief executive officer of United Development Company and has been since 2015. Before this, he was chief executive officer of Gulf Drilling International (2009-2015) and deputy general manager of Occidental Petroleam of Qatar (2005-2009). He started his career in the oil and gas industry over 26 years ago. Mr Al-Othman serves on several boards and committees in the field of utilities and real estate development. In 2013 and 2015 he was featured in Oil and Gas Middle East “Power 50” as one of the most influential decision makers in the regional upstream business. Mr Al-Othman holds a bachelor of science in petroleum engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA in business administration from American University of Beirut.
Joseph Abraham
Group Chief Executive Officer @Commercial Bank of Qatar
Joseph Abraham is the group chief executive officer of Commercial Bank and has extensive banking experience across both developed and emerging markets. Mr Abraham also serves as board vice-chairman of Alternatif Bank in Turkey and is a member of the boards of the National Bank of Oman and United Arab Bank. Before joining Commercial Bank, Mr Abraham was chief executive officer of ANZ Indonesia (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group) based in Jakarta, a position he served from 2008 to 2016. Mr Abraham graduated with an MBA from Stanford Business School and has worked in Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ghana, the UK and India in various country and regional banking roles with a successful track record covering general management, corporate banking, strategy, product management as well as acquisitions and integrations.
Raju Buddhiraju
Executive General Manager, Wholesale Banking @Commercial Bank of Qatar
Mr Buddhiraju has been executive general manager of wholesale banking at Commercial Bank since 2014. Before this, he was chief of retail and enterprise banking. Mr Buddhiraju graduated with a bachelor of technology in petroleum engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India. Additionally, he holds a post graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Kolkata, India.Before joining Commercial Bank, Mr Buddhiraju was chief retail banking officer of Dubai Islamic Bank based in Dubai, U.A.E., a position he served in from 2012 to 2014. From 2002 to 2008, Mr Buddhiraju was with Arab National Bank of Saudi Arabia, where he served as general manager of retail banking.
