PANDORA-id-NET and Africa CDC: Research ethics during epidemics
This workshop aims to provide training across Africa on Research ethics during epidemics.

The workshop will be broken down into these topics in two 3-hour sessions over the two days. Teaching will be a combination of presentations, break out rooms with case studies and Q&A discussions.

Learning Objectives:
1. help integrate research methods into outbreak response management;
2. promote ethical research and community engagement;
3. collate a pool of African experts in research ethics;
4. consult views and values from the field to inform the ACDC’s Afrocentric Research Ethics Framework;
5. cascade training and materials through these first responders who are senior and specialist public health practitioners who can, in turn, train local colleagues.

There will be live translations: English, French, Arabic

Certificates of Attendance will be available. To be eligible for one you must register in Zoom (even if you are joining from a classroom), attend for at least 80% of the workshop and you must complete the workshop evaluation.
