Chicago Riverwalk Construction Engineering
This presentation covers construction engineering and field solutions for two phases of a Chicago Riverwalk Project along the Chicago River from State Street to Lake Street, which were constructed between 2014-2016. As a consultant to the construction team, Collins Engineers, Inc. provided construction engineering services throughout the project. This presentation will discuss the design of value engineering alternatives for under bridges, Jetty Bay, and Boardwalk Bay. In addition to the design of the various elements, the implementation and constructability of each element will be presented and discussed.

PDHs will be available and the webinars are FREE. Please note: one PDH certificate of completion will be issued to each webinar participant. These webinars meet the continuing education requirements of most states; however, it is ultimately the engineer’s responsibility to determine whether an activity meets the guidelines set forth by their state board.
