Family Resilience: A Journey of Strength and Support
Our resilience - understand it and fostering it - has never been more important. This is true for each and every one of us and is critical for the children and families we serve. The Devereux Center for Resilient Children invites all adults who support children and families to join us for a resilience-building journey. Dr. Nefertiti Poyner will host this experience, shining a light on the most ordinary ways that we can support and strengthen family resilience. This webinar will introduce basic resilience concepts, and then dive into three key areas, including:

(1) Empowering parents to promote safe, trusting, and healing environments
(2) Showing parents how ordinary, everyday interactions are the perfect moments to strengthen children's resilience
(3) Helping parents to understand that their own personal resilience (self-care) is essential for overall family resilience
