FREE CEU: Increasing caregiver integrity of skill implementation through ACT base training.
Presenter: Reigna Pierce, MS, BCBA, LBA & Erin Guiffre BCBA, LBA, LCSW

Earlier research has demonstrated both the efficacy of behavioral parent training in effectively teaching parent skill implementation and of an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) base training program in improving perceived parenting abilities. The purpose of this presentation will be to evaluate current BCBA perspectives towards challenging parent training and using ACT principles to achieve more collaborative, effective, and efficient parent training strategies. ACT based training components in increasing participant integrity of skill implementation will all be addressed.
