Marc May is a structural engineer from the technical University of Kaiserslautern in Germany. He started his career in 1999 with a structural steel fabricator where he was responsible for the design and execution of buildings made of structural steel, mainly offices and industrial buildings in different countries all over Europe. In 2004, he moved to a precast concrete supplier as design engineer for prefabricated structural and architectural concrete elements. He joined in 2005 the worldwide Technical Advisory of ArcelorMittal Commercial Sections, taking care of optimizing structural steel constructions, elements and details as well as advising customers on surface protection, fire safety, metallurgy and welding. Since 2018 he is part of the Steligence® Engineering Team.
