Join National Space Academy Director Anu Ojha and team for a live online Q & A session with British ESA astronaut Tim Peake. Tim’s Principia mission to the ISS in 2015-16 was inspirational to a generation of children and has created a legacy of space educational resources, such as the Astro Academy: Principia teaching guides and films https://astroacademy.org.uk/ developed with Tim by the National Space Academy.
Tim joins us at an exciting time for all those with an interest in human spaceflight, as the ESA call for astronaut applications has just opened, alongside a programme to test how astronauts with disabilities could be recruited and trained for spaceflight. As well as discussing the future of human spaceflight at ESA and his own experiences, Tim is also always keen to talk about the contributions of other roles to the space sector and the importance of STEM subjects.
You can submit your questions to Tim in advance or during the event using the Q&A function. Questions will be pre-selected or chosen by the host on the day: depending on the number of questions coming in we may not be able to ask all of your questions, but we will pick up on any common themes in questions and try to get through as many as we can! Please submit your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
This webinar and the Q&A session will be recorded which may capture your name, picture, voice or video and may be made available on our social media, YouTube channel and our website. If you would like to ask a question during the event, your name will appear in the chat or Q & A chatbox, as you have entered it on this registration form. You do not have to enter both your first name and surname. You consent to this by registering for this webinar.
