Homeroom with Education Leaders: Supporting Rural Students of Color
Rural students and rural communities are not a monolith. Across the United States, each rural community is made up of different people with different backgrounds, values, and demographics. As we as a country face a reckoning around systemic racism, including in our education systems, it's crucial that we also discuss the systems that sideline the voices of rural students and how they intersect to impact the well-being and educational outcomes of rural students of color. In this webinar, we will hear from state leaders and advocates who are working diligently to support rural Black, Latinx, and Indigenous students to overcome the barriers that impact their educational experiences.
