JOIN our teacher and writer Melanie Spanswick for her one-day 6-HOUR online piano course, 'Tricky Corners'!
✔ Melanie will coach SIX participants, guiding them through their chosen repertoire, focusing particularly on sections of pieces which are causing difficulty or are proving 'Tricky'.
✔ All elements will be discussed, from style and interpretation to technical issues and practice suggestions.
✔ Melanie will work with each course member offering many practical suggestions, and this course will be especially useful for those who have tension related issues.
✔ The course will be attended by participants only, and will offer an hour's one-to-one tuition, divided into two half hour sessions.
✔ Pianists of ELEMENTARY TO LATE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL are invited to apply (around Grade 2 - 7, ABRSM standard), and they will have the opportunity to meet and chat to fellow course members for coffee during break times, as well as the chance to ask Melanie any piano-related questions throughout the day.
✔ The workshop will begin at 10.00am and will finish at 4pm. There will be a short lunch break, as well as a coffee and tea break.

About the presenter:
Melanie Spanswick is a pianist, writer, teacher, adjudicator, and composer, who has authored best-selling books on many aspects of piano performance and pedagogy.
She is a member of the piano faculty at Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, an Honorary Master Teacher at the Tom Lee Academy in Hong Kong, a faculty member at First Education, which is based in Hong Kong and Macau, and she also teaches at Eton College.
