Dr. Peterson is currently the VP, of Quality and Safety at Munson Healthcare, a 9 hospital system in Michigan, where he oversees safety, quality, risk management, regulatory, patient relations, infection prevention, and patient experience. He has developed national award-winning safety programs in hospital systems in Michigan and Colorado over the past 12 years. Dr. Peterson has led state and national collaboratives also in Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Population Health Management and Community Health and Advocacy for the past 20 years. Dr. Peterson has worked as a national expert in childhood obesity and tobacco control for the past 30 years.
