Jodey Arrington was raised in Plainview, Texas and graduated from Texas Tech where his passion for public service took him to Austin, Texas where he worked for Governor George W. Bush. He was then tapped by President Bush to join the White House as a senior advisor before being appointed as Chief of Staff to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. In January of 2017, Jodey became only the fifth person to represent Texas’ 19th Congressional District since its formation in 1935. Starting his 3rd term in Congress, he continues to be an outspoken advocate for reining in the federal government, promoting agriculture and energy, strengthening national security, and respecting the Constitution while serving the largest agriculture and energy district in the United States. Since 2019, Jodey has served on the most powerful committee in Congress—the Committee on Ways and Means. In 2021, he was appointed to the U.S. Congress’ Joint Economic Committee (JEC).
Cye Wagner

Cye Wagner has enjoyed over 10 years with Cooper Oil & Gas, Inc. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Business. After completing internships with Burlington Resources, Chevron and EOG Resources, she chose to work for EOG in the Fort Worth Division upon graduation. Cye enjoyed her tenure there in completions and production engineering until making the move to the family business. At COGI, Cye serves in an executive management role over the exploration, accounting, human resource, and regulatory departments. Cye previously served as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Alliance. She is a member of several other industry organizations including the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Independent Petroleum Association of America. Cye is very active in her community of Fort Worth.
Jason Modglin

Jason Modglin brings a wealth of legislative and regulatory expertise to the Alliance as its new President. For the past decade, he has been at the forefront of the most pressing issues for oil and natural gas, from Austin to Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Alliance, Jason served as Director of Public Affairs for Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick. Previously, he was Chief of Staff for House Energy Resources Chairman Drew Darby. Before that, he served as a policy analyst for Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples. A native of Houston, Jason holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
