Paul Lightfoot is creating the first national brand of locally grown produce. In four years, Lightfoot has led the company from a proof-of-concept to operating four greenhouses in key markets like Washington, D.C., Chicago, Cincinnati and Philadelphia. BrightFarms was named 235th on the 2017 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies, ranking 10th among all food companies and the only produce company featured on the list.

Victor Verlage is currently Senior Director of Agricultural Strategy leading Strategic Food Sourcing at Walmart Inc. In 2014 Victor relocated to Bentonville, Arkansas to spearhead the development of next generation produce. He is responsible to secure long term food supply for Walmart’s growth demand plans while delivering enhanced freshness and flavor in produce to delight Walmart’s customers around the world. Victor joined Walmart Global Food Sourcing in 2010.
