On Tuesday 31st May 2022, Dr Adam Frost, Senior Lecturer at The University of Manchester, will be joined by two leading business professionals as they discuss the importance of sustainability in their industries and how they build it into their business models. Adam teaches Implementing Business ideas, part of the PG Cert Entrepreneurship and will be joined by a panel of professionals with an interest in sustainability demonstrating the practical application of the theories covered in the Postgraduate certificate.

His areas of expertise include entrepreneurship education and responsible entrepreneurship. Adam has previously held roles at Queen's University, Belfast and Liverpool John Moores University where he has been a Senior Lecturer. Azhar Murtuza (Founder @Born Maverick Group) Azhar Murtuza is a founder of Born Maverick group, which is located in Northern Ireland, Kent and Singapore. He is a biotechnologist with an International MBA and currently working with leading research institutes and various institutional stakeholders across the globe in developing unique plant-based sustainable formulations along with extraction of proteins from various sources in an eco-innovative way. The ideas of Born Maverick have been backed by the likes of Innovate UK, STFC, GROW, MFIC and many more stakeholders while few of the ideas have already been purchased by multi-national corporations. Alex Marshall (Group Business Development and Marketing Director @Clarke Energy) Alex Marshall is the Group Business Development and Marketing Director at Clarke Energy and has recently relocated to Boston, Massachusetts to support the businesses growth in the United States. Clarke Energy, a KOHLER Company is an international specialist in low carbon and distributed power generation. Alex is a 3-time graduate of Manchester University holding an MBA, Master of Enterprise in Environmental Innovation and a BSc in Biology.
