Before Molly Burhans, the last map detailing lands owned by the Catholic Church was created during the Roman Empire. Today, between hospitals, schools, and parks, the Catholic Church is the largest private landowner in the world, and Molly has used Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to map these lands for the first time.
Through GoodLands, Molly provides the information, insights, and implementation tools for the Catholic Church to leverage its landholdings to address pressing issues, from environmental destruction to mass human migration.
Join us Wednesday, April 8th for this fascinating Inside Ashoka with Molly Burhans.
Special thanks to Bank of the West for sponsoring our April Earth Month series.
