Wheeler, Ph.D. (Senior Research Scientist @Acadience Learning Inc.) Courtney E. Wheeler, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at Acadience Learning Inc., where she conducts research on assessments related to mathematics and early childhood language and literacy development. Dr. Wheeler is the lead author of Acadience® Math. Since obtaining her doctorate from the University of Oregon in School Psychology in 2010, she’s been drawn to conducting research that will have practical implications for individual children and the larger system they are a part of. Through using data and evaluation, she believes we can advance educational equity and ensure all children have equal access to high-quality education. Dr. Wheeler has served as a school psychologist in rural and urban school districts. She also has extensive experience providing formal technical assistance and training to schools on MTSS, RTI, and the use of assessments through a variety of roles including her previous position as an Institute of Education Sciences Postdoctoral Researcher. Amy Warnock (Research Operations Manager \| Research Analyst @Acadience Learning Inc.) Amy Warnock is the Research Operations Manager and a Research Analyst at Acadience Learning, where she has contributed to the research and development of Acadience Math, Acadience Reading 7–8, Acadience RAN, and Acadience Reading Diagnostic: CFOL. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Oregon in 2011, and her interest in working in research was sparked during a practicum at the Oregon Social Learning Center. Amy joined the Acadience Learning team as a Research Assistant in 2012. Her foray into data analysis began in 2016 while working on a project exploring the relationship between Acadience Reading K–6 and Common Core assessments. Since then, she has completed graduate-level coursework in quantitative research methods in the College of Education at the University of Oregon.
