Neil Gilberg
Advocate for Business @NYS Workers' Compensation Board
Neil Gilberg has significant experience in the private sector. He hails from the hospitality industry, where he spent 20 years overseeing a major Catskill’s resort, managing 300 employees and a multi-million-dollar budget. As well, he possesses a background in government service as the former Sullivan County Clerk, a member of the Fallsburg Town Council and as a trustee of the Fallsburg Central School District. Furthermore, Mr. Gilberg was on the Board of Directors for C.A.S.A (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children). Mr. Gilberg was appointed by the Governor to serve as the Business Ambassador/Advocate for Business at the NYS Workers' Compensation Board. In this position, he addresses employers' concerns, regarding the New York State workers' compensation system and the development of policies as resolutions to those concerns.
