The Case for Storytelling: Creating an Immersive Learning Strategy through Games and Videos
Stories have power. Great ones help learners build familiarity and trust, trigger emotional connections, and encourage behavioral change. Stories are one of the most powerful tools that trainers can use to influence, teach, and inspire. When designed well, stories can lead to higher retention than nearly any other form of training. In this webinar, we’ll explain how to leverage storytelling with videos and games to create an immersive and effective training experience.

Rich Vass, Vice President of Learning Solutions at eLearning Brothers, will talk about the instructional design process and how to ensure the story construct and script aligns with your learning objectives.

Nick Liebman, Head of Content at Powtoon, a web-based animation and video creation software, will show how to translate a boring training manual into a fun and engaging video.

Stephen Baer, Chief Creative Officer at The Game Agency, will discuss how to add those videos to enhance a branching path game that allows players to immediately learn from the negative and positive consequences of their decisions.

In this webinar, you’ll learn:

- The importance of stories and storytelling as part of your training strategy
- How to easily create engaging videos to make your story come to life
- How to create branching path games with video to immerse your learners in the training
