Understanding Our New World - A Conversation with Sharon Bush, Executive Director of Grand Victoria Foundation
Join the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute on Tuesday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. CT via Zoom for a conversation with Sharon Bush, executive director of Grand Victoria Foundation, and John Shaw, Institute director, as they discuss Bush’s career in philanthropy, her leadership in Illinois during COVID-19, and her views on racial equity and social justice.

Bush has worked in philanthropy for more than two decades and served as director of Elgin programs, managing director, and now executive director of Grand Victoria Foundation. She is a board member for Mikva Challenge and African American Legacy and an advisor to Willie’s Warriors, a leadership development program of Chicago Foundation for Women. Bush is also the former co-chair of Chicago African Americans in Philanthropy.

This program is part of a virtual series of conversations sponsored by the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute with policy experts, political analysts, and government and private sector leaders.
