We invite three leading HSE Directors from different industry sectors to give their views:

James Pomeroy, Group HSES Director for Lloyd's Register
Neil Budworth, Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Loughborough University

Our experts will share:

1. How Covid-19 impacted their sector/business
2. What lessons did they learn
3. What changes in approach have they instigated
4. How are they ensuring that Health & Safety is at the forefront of organisational decision-making in the future?

The webinar will be chaired by Shirley Parsons and is free for all to attend.

Each expert will share their thoughts and then we will be taking questions from attendees

A Chartered H&S professional, Amanda has worked within the aviation, health care, retail and distribution, and financial services sectors, including global roles at RBS and Bupa. As well as her Diploma in H&S, Amanda has a BA(Hons) in Economics, a MSc in Security Management and IT and a LLM in Employment Law. Amanda was awarded an MBE in the 2020 New Years Honours List for services to Transport, particularly during the COVID-19 response. James Pomeroy (Group HSES Director @Lloyd's Register) James Pomeroy is the Group HSES Director for Lloyd's Register. James has been involved in leading and transforming HSES programmes in a variety of sectors and countries for over 30 years. He is a Fellow of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, and holds degrees in engineering, business management, environmental law and OHS. Neil Budworth (Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing @Loughborough University) Neil Budworth is the Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Loughborough University, the current Chair of the Universities Safety and Health Association (USHA) and a Past President of IOSH. He has more than 30 years experience of working in health and safety across a number of sectors. During the pandemic Neil has been responsible for the Covid response of Loughborough University and has also been the HE sector representative in discussions with the various arms of Government.
