Beyond ‘Going Green’: What Else You Can Do to Slow the Climate Crisis
This free event is part of Fuel 2020 – vertuelab.org/fuel-2020 – the Pacific Northwest’s premier cleantech summit.

Okay, quick level set:

2019 tied 2016 for the hottest summer on record in the northern hemisphere, nine of the top ten warmest years have occurred since 2005, and global emissions hit an all time high in 2019 (last time we broke this record we have to go all the way back to, *checks notes*, 2018).

We all know what we should be doing, right? Eliminate single-use plastics, walk instead of drive, remember your reusable shopping bags.

The Evergrey, along with our sister publication in Portland, Bridgeliner, will be hosting Beyond ‘Going Green’: What Else You Can Do to Slow the Climate Crisis. We will dive into the subject of what it really means to go green, and share insights into what we’re all doing that has the biggest impact.

We’ll be joined by:

• Emily Darchuk, Founder, Wheyward Spirit
• Andrea Axel, Executive Director, Spark Northwest
• Alex Gamboa Grand, Co-founder, Good Intent
• Tony Tursich, Chief Investment Officer & Portfolio Manager, Pearl Impact Capital

Be a part of the solutions as we explore ways we can make small (& big) changes in our everyday lives to help slow the climate crisis.

Fuel 2020 brings together a future-focused community committed to fueling an equitable and sustainable future. This year our summit is going digital! With short events spread across two weeks you'll get a chance to plug-in and connect daily with a future-focused community of entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, and more.
