With the current state of the world, it's more important than ever for Agile and DevOps teams to be able to collaborate within their testing ecosystem. With the latest release of SOAtest and Virtualize 2020.1, Parasoft provides key capabilities to enable co-located, remote, and distributed DevOps teams to plan, collaborate, and execute their test automation.
The new work item traceability workflows in Parasoft SOAtest allow API testing teams to associate work items with their test cases so that when planning their test activities in systems of record (such as JIRA, Xray, and CollabNet VersionOne), they can immediately associate those test artifacts with their test cases. This makes it easy for testing teams to identify which requirements still need test cases and understand their full test coverage traceability to the requirements.
Additionally, teams need to be able to orchestrate and execute test automation. Service virtualization is a key enabler for DevOps and test automation by creating virtual services to stub out endpoints that are unavailable, unstable, or lack the proper test data. To make it easier for teams to manage their virtual service inventory, this release introduces a new dashboard into the Continuous Testing Platform that enables users to manage, monitor, and understand the performance characteristics of their virtual services.
Finally, to make it easier than ever to build those virtual services, Parasoft Virtualize has introduced a new responder mode to create virtual services that behave like real services by recording sequences and playing them back in order.
Join us for a demonstration of the new capabilities and discussion on how to enhance the testing process for DevOps teams, with the ability to:
- Quickly associate work items with test cases in systems of record.
- Remotely view and track performance characteristics of virtual services.
- Easily create virtual services with sequence recording and playback.
