Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat
Minister of International Cooperation @Arab Republic of Egypt
Dr. Al-Mashat was sworn in as Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation on December 22, 2019. Before this appointment, she was the first woman to serve as Egypt’s Minister of Tourism between January 2018 and December 2019. As Minister of Tourism, she launched the Egypt—Tourism Reform Program (E—TRP) in November 2018, a comprehensive, coherent and consistent policy framework aimed at unleashing the potential of Egypt’s tourism sector with an overarching objective to have at least one individual in each Egyptian Household working directly or indirectly in the tourism sector. The sector under her leadership achieved unprecedented tourism revenues, accelerating by 28% to record USD 12.6 billion in 2018/2019 and exceeding historical outturns.
Victoria Behn
Director, Middle East @Euromoney
Victoria has worked at Euromoney for over 16 years where she is currently director for the Middle East. She is responsible for the development of the Middle East business and managing the relationships with public and private sector partners. Euromoney has covered the region since its creation over 50 years ago and has run training and major financial events for 25 years. She enjoys travelling and has worked extensively in the Middle East and Africa. Before joining Euromoney Victoria worked at the CWC Group, covering the oil, gas and infrastructure markets. She also worked at NCH Action for Children in Edinburgh focusing on the charity’s policy events. Victoria holds a BA in history from Leeds University.
