Discipleship in the Age of Pandemic

COVID-19 and its endless implications have been life-changing.

It is changing discipleship too, but maybe not for the worse. Join us as we explore what discipleship in the age of pandemic asks of us: simplicity, clarity and commitment (and a bit of technological know how!).

The chaos of the unpredictable is real, but this is our opportunity to both cling to and offer that which is more needed than ever, a deep groundedness in he who is the same yesterday, today, and forever -- Jesus Christ.

There will be an opportunity for those interested to stay on after the main event to continue discussions in a small group format. If you are interested, please plan for a one-hour event, plus an optional 30 min discussion following immediately afterward.

Connally Gilliam has been on staff with the US Navigators for over 20 years, discipling and leading locally, nationally, and internationally. Prior to this, she worked in Washington, DC for an international public policy thinktank, before which she taught high school and college writing. She is the author of two books, Revelations of a Single Woman and And Yet Undaunted and has spoken widely for the last 15 years. She has served for nine years on the board of Regent College (Vancouver, BC), from which she received her MA in Theological Studies. Connally loves the opportunity to help others, of all ages, deepen in their faith.

This event will be recorded and a link to the event will be sent to all registered participants. Even if you can't attend the live session, make sure to register to receive the follow-up content and recording.
