Prior to joining Life:Powered, Jason, a fourth-generation native Texan, was elected four times as the State Representative for Hays and Blanco counties in the Texas Hill Country. He served on the Energy Resources and Environmental Regulation committees, among others. During his eight years of service, he successfully passed legislation to reduce taxes, strengthen election integrity, improve public education, preserve Second Amendment rights, protect local groundwater, and protect private property rights. He was repeatedly honored for his commitment to limited government and proved to be an effective leader, excelling at both advocating for conservative principles and working across the aisle to find responsible solutions for the future of the Lone Star State. Jason has appeared on national news shows, and his commentaries have been published in The Hill, The Washington Examiner, the Daily Caller, and other publications.
Cye Wagner

Cye Wagner has enjoyed over 10 years with Cooper Oil & Gas, Inc. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Business. After completing internships with Burlington Resources, Chevron and EOG Resources, she chose to work for EOG in the Fort Worth Division upon graduation. Cye enjoyed her tenure there in completions and production engineering until making the move to the family business. At COGI, Cye serves in an executive management role over the exploration, accounting, human resource, and regulatory departments.

Prior to joining the Alliance, Jason served as Director of Public Affairs for Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick. Previously, he was Chief of Staff for House Energy Resources Chairman Drew Darby. Before that, he served as a policy analyst for Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples. A native of Houston, Jason holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
