Janae Futrell, AICP LEED AP (Owner @Civic Sphere)
Janae Futrell, AICP, LEED AP, a city planner and architectural designer, is the owner of Civic Sphere, a mobility and public transit technology consulting firm. Futrell has been working in public transit and human services transportation (HST) since 2006, with a special focus on transportation technology since 2012. In previous public-sector positions, Futrell managed the Atlanta Regional Commission&#39;s Regional Transit Committee and Human Services Transportation work programs as well as the City of Atlanta&#39;s SmartATL smart city program within the City&#39;s Information Technology Department.

Dr. Roger Teal (President @DemandTrans)
Dr. Roger F. Teal has a 40 year background in research, academia, consulting, and information technology. He is a former tenured faculty member (Civil Engineering—Transportation Systems) at the University of California, Irvine. Since founding DemandTrans Solutions in 1994, Dr. Teal has managed many large software projects and designed multiple software applications—including MobilityDR, a technology platform for demand responsive transit services for the general public used by several large transit agencies—as well as participated in multiple large transportation consulting projects. Dr. Teal served as the prime organizer and chairperson for the first major conference on demand responsive transit in 17 years in 2014, an international conference that is now a biennial event. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from MIT, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Tufts University.
