Noel Anderson, MMT, MT-BC, is a board certified music therapist, neurologic music therapist (NMT), certified teacher of music, and vocalist. She has experience working with children through adults with various developmental and neurological disabilities; including reactive attachment disorder (RAD), cerebral palsy, chromosomal abnormalities, intellectual disabilities, brain injury, and autism. Before opening Anderson Music Therapy Services, Noel developed and implemented a school-based music therapy program for children through adults with multiple disabilities.
Noel received a bachelor's degree in music therapy from Immaculata University after completing her clinical internship at Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy, in Philadelphia. Along with her music therapy certification she holds a certification for music education in the state of New Jersey. Noel earned a Master of Music Therapy degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She then continued her education by obtaining her certification in Neurologic Music Therapy from the Robert F. Unkefer Academy of Music Therapy at Colorado State University.
