Join the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute on Tuesday, August 11 at 4:00 p.m. CT via Zoom for a conversation with the Marguerite Casey Foundation President Carmen Rojas and Institute Director John Shaw as they discuss how the COVID-19 crisis has intensified the struggles of workers and increased racial inequities in the United States.
Rojas is the president of the Marguerite Casey Foundation which supports grassroots efforts to advance families and advocates for a more just and equitable society. Prior to joining the Foundation in June, Rojas was the co-founder and CEO of The Workers Lab, an innovation lab that invests in entrepreneurs, community organizers, and government leaders to create strategies to improve conditions for low-wage workers. For the past two decades, Rojas has worked with foundations, financial institutions, and non-profits to improve the lives of working people across the United States.
This program is part of a virtual series of conversations sponsored by the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute with policy experts, political analysts, and government and private sector leaders.
We would love to hear from you! If you would like to ask Carmen Rojas a question, please email your question to email@example.com or include it below in the "Questions & Comments" box.
