Coronavirus Speaker Series: Sharing Knowledge to Respond with Resilience is a weekly session organized by the Global Resilient Cities Network (GRCN) and World Bank as a knowledge sharing session for cities in respond to the rapidly evolving Covid-19 situation.
For this #6 session, we will welcome Julian Baskin from Cities Alliance and Mohammed Zanna and Farouk Braimah from Slum Dwellers International (Nigeria and Ghana) to share about “Inclusive approaches for tackling COVID-19 in informal settlements”. This session will focus on suitable approaches to managing and responding to the pandemic in the global South and how Cities in their response to COVID-19 can protect their most poor and vulnerable by responding in a more inclusive and locally appropriate ways.
The session will take place: Thursday, 16 April, 2020 8.30 AM EST - 09.30 / 08.30 PM Singapore Time.
