Sai Ratna Chaitanya

Ratnam works on various projects related to public transport, including the Chennai BRT project. He is also actively involved in creating knowledge products for public transport. He completed a fellowship in Interdisciplinary Urban Practice at IIHS in Bengaluru. Prior to the fellowship, Ratnam worked with Hyderabad Urban Lab (HUL), a research organisation working on several projects around the city of Hyderabad. With a deep interest in state-operated public transport, Ratnam and his friends run a blog titled ‘LOVEofZ’—where they write about buses in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Dr. Abhijit Lokre
Urban Planner @The Urban Lab
Dr. Abhijit Lokre is an urban planner with over seventeen years of work experience. He is the founder of 'The Urban Lab', where he leads planning and research projects as well as training and capacity building. Abhijit is a visiting faculty at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Prior to founding The Urban Lab, he worked with CEPT University as Associate Professor at the Centre of Excellence in Urban Transport. His key interest areas are in the field of urban transport and urban planning, specially land use and transport, street design, transit-oriented development and transport policies. His doctoral work was in the area of BRTS and decision making. Abhijit led the design team for Bus Rapid Transit Projects in Ahmedabad, Surat, Hubli Dharwad, Vadodara and Bhubaneswar.
Shreya Gadepalli
South Asia Programme Lead @ITDP
Over the last two decades, Shreya Gadepalli has guided dozens of cities in the design and implementation of high-quality urban bus systems, complete streets, inclusive transit-oriented cities, and regulation of personal motor vehicle. Her work since the late 90s has established herself as one of the foremost experts on sustainable urban mobility. Today, she leads a young and committed team to achieve tangible transformation at scale in cities across India.
