Join us for a very special event devoted to Robert Burns and the history of Burns Suppers.
With Professor Gerard Carruthers (Centre for Robert Burns Studies) as our host, we'll explore research on:
* How the first Burns Suppers came about
* How and why these events spread across the globe
* Burns Supper myths debunked
Professor Carruthers will also present findings from the History of the Burns Supper research project from the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, University of Glasgow.
PLUS, be among the first to see the project's new, interactive Burns Supper global map.
The 45-minute talk will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.
