Joseph G. Allen is the CEO and founder of 9 Foundations, Inc., and an Associate Professor at Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where he directs the Healthy Buildings program. Before joining the faculty at Harvard, he spent several years in the private sector leading teams of scientists and engineers to investigate and resolve hundreds of indoor environmental quality issues. His academic research focuses on the critical role the indoor built environment plays in our overall health.

Associate Professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and CEO of 9 Foundations Inc.
Dr. Joseph G. Allen is CEO of 9 Foundations Inc. He began his career conducting forensic health investigations of sick buildings in several hundred buildings across a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, biotechnology, education, commercial office real estate and manufacturing. Dr. Allen is also an Associate Professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health where he directs the Healthy Buildings program and created ‘the 9 Foundations of a Healthy Building’, a program to optimize indoor environments for health. With 9 Foundations Inc., Dr. Allen is leading the effort to turn the research into implementable solutions for select clients.
Matthew Warner
Portfolio Manager, Real Estate Equity @Manulife Investment Management
Matt is a real estate portfolio manager within Manulife Investment Management's private markets team. Prior to joining Manulife, Matt was Director of Portfolio Management at Colony Capital, where he was responsible for supporting the head of portfolio management and chief financial officer for their core plus/value-add platform, as well as various other corporate initiatives. Matt previously had also worked at the Debt Exchange as a Vice President in their consulting and valuation division. Prior to his masters, Matt gained development, leasing and entitlement experience working for a local developer.
