Back to School Series: Getting Better Prepared for Online and Hybrid Learning
To “future-proof” your campus, every instructor must be prepared to teach effectively online.

Even as faculty took heroic steps to teaching online, we can - and should - be better prepared for the future. This fall, colleges and universities can ensure instructors are equipped with evidence-based teaching practices for high-quality online and hybrid instruction, so that every student can remain on a path to success.

In this hour-long virtual discussion, Dr. Harry L. Williams, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and Dr. Jessica Rowland Williams, Every Learner Everywhere, will provide remarks on the challenges and opportunities ahead in ensuring student success and equity. Then, an expert panel of administrators and faculty leaders will discuss practical online teaching approaches that can be immediately put to use this Fall semester.

Registrants will receive ACUE’s latest Back to School toolkit, which will also include evidence-based teaching practices for effective online instruction.

Panelists for this session include:

Flower Darby, Educational Leadership Faculty, Northern Arizona University; Keynote Speaker; Author and Scholar on Equitable and Inclusive Teaching

Dr. Michael Pullin, Ph.D, Associate Dean of Academics, Queensborough Community College - The City University of New York
