Poland is an important country for pilgrimage tourism and is famous for its many pilgrimage sites like Jasna Góra, Wadowice, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska are just a few of the most important places visited by numerous pilgrims worldwide. The faithful have been going to the oldest of them for many centuries. All these cities ask for favours for the soul and body and thank the gifts already received.

Jasna Góra has been the most popular place of pilgrimage in Poland for centuries. According to legend, the faithful pay tribute to the miraculous painting of the Mother of God with the Child, painted by St. Luke the Evangelist.

The Basilica of Divine Mercy in Kraków-Łagiewniki is also impressive. There is the most famous religious image in Poland in the Sanctuary, after Jasna Góra - the image of the Merciful Christ, and next, at the John Paul II Center, we can reflect on the relics the saint's blood.

Poland also has a lot to offer in terms of culture, not only for pilgrim groups but also for leisure groups and individuals: places inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Krakow with one of the most beautiful Old Town and with Wawel castle, national parks – Pieniny with Dunajec River Rafting, mountain trips - visit to Zakopane (winter capital of Poland). We can organize, for example, a Chopin concert or dumplings-making workshops, because Poland is also a rich tradition and culture!

Also, during the presentation, we share some information about our 5th International Congress of Pilgrimage Tourism in Krakow. The congress is on all tourism sectors, pil-grimage, and worldwide guests feature some great places worth visiting.
